Gardaland is the n°1 Fun Park in Italy.

The difficult role which Parco Natura Viva has taken upon itself, as a protection centre for animal species threatened by extinction, is both ambitious and stimulating. Today, the institutional functions of a modern zoological garden embrace the conservation of biodiversity under multiple aspects and can be broken down into three essential areas:
• Conservation of threatened species
• Research
• Naturalistic divulgation
These are the tools we avail of to accomplish and promote the conservation of animals and their habitats worldwide.
The Park, throughout its over 35 years of history, has increasingly seen itself as a place where people can be motivated to the cause of the conservation of biodiversity, increasing its efforts in creating educational and information programmes on conservation and in-house and external research founded on the protection of animal populations and their habitats.
The park is open non-stop from 9 am to 6 pm. The opening and closing times vary depending on the season. In November the Management makes changes to the schedule according to the weather conditions, so it is recommended to phone for further information (045 7170113).

Centro Picoverde is located In Custoza. The park is particularly ideal for experiencing exciting days full of sport, happiness and relaxation in a green natural oasis. Situated in a large green area, in addition to the swimming pools, slides and numerous water games there are also two tennis courts and a five a side football pitch. Toboga, Kamikaze, Solarium, Olympic size swimming pool, Children’s lagoon, Free courses, Acquatonic, Acquadance, Sunny Step, Beech Training, Water Dance. It is a 60,000 m² water park, located in Custoza at 6 Km from Lake Garda, on a hill which dominates the Padana lowland; the attractions are many, a tennis court, a pitch and an Olympic size swimming pool. The Picoverde avails of a bar, restaurant, pizzeria, self-service restaurant. The facility is also accessible to the disabled.

To promote and support tourism on Lake Garda the Consortium established between the Province and Chamber of Commerce I.A.A. of Verona with the Municipality of Malcesine, gave life to Azienda Trasporti Funciolari Malcesine –Monte Baldo (Funivia Monte Baldo Malcesine) in 1955. Its Board of Directors works with particular sensitivity on territorial issues. In fact, its members are representatives of the social and economic companies working on Lake Garda and in the Communities of Baldo. The Monte Baldo Malcesine cableway on Lake Garda is more than simply a tourist attraction with the objective of keeping the mountain economy alive, it is also a source of employment for the specialised workforce and the technicians and administrative employees involved who make the system work and make it known worldwide, and for the related industries specialised in the sector and for the many, directly or indirectly, who have an effect on the hospitality activity. The decision to renew the Funivia Malcesine Monte Baldo, which had transported over 6 million passengers between 1962 and 2001, was followed by a long and careful planning phase carried out on the basis of the studies performed by the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Trento.

Parco Giardino Sigurtà has risen for over thirty years on the hills surrounding the Mincio valley at Valeggi, close to Lake Garda at 8 km from Peschiera. In the park it is possible to admire a considerable variety of plants and spend an entire day in total tranquillity far from the traffic which perennially afflicts the Lake Garda area. Furthermore, those who wish to, can find refreshment areas in different areas of the Park where they can stop for a picnic; there is also a shop where it is possible to purchase gadgets and, above all, the new fun mascot. In the charming frame of the Park there is also a structure large enough to hold up to five hundred seated persons, with six hundred square meters of covered area for meetings, conventions and events.
From March to November, every day non-stop. Open from 9am to 6pm. Closes at 7pm. (During March, October, November: open from 9 to 5pm. Closes at 6pm). On the busiest days (for example Easter, 1 May, 2 June, 15 August) a maximum number of visits has been set to guarantee all visitors full enjoyment of the large spaces of the Park, without meeting excessive crowds. Having reached the threshold decided by the Management as many visitors will enter and exit, offering everyone the opportunity of a truly unforgettable day, whatever the season.

The naturalist doctor and botanist Arturo Hruska created a miniature size Dolomitic garden of 1 hectare in Gardone between 1910 and 1971. In the garden it is possible to admire lakes, streams and original solutions of hydraulic engineering. Furthermore, the garden welcomes the most interesting species of alpine flora and many botanic rarities. Since 1989 it has been the property of André Heller, multimedia Austrian artist, who has embellished it with numerous works of contemporary art.

In addition to the foamy waterfalls, the park also offers a landscape marked by woods and meadows, frequently interrupted by torrents and streams which joins the sweetness of the green, in the infinite variety of the vegetation, to the grey of the rocky spurs. In the park it is possible to find a synthesis of low mountain scenery, where routes and itineraries offer visitors the serene solemnity of a waterfall of foamy water, the expanse of multicoloured flowers between a forest and a precipice and the gorge inhabited by a vortical torrent.
